And even though the pages looked terrible, in general it was pretty easy to get around. Sometimes I long for the straightforward usability of 1995! And speaking of 1995, I was entertained a few years ago when I found my laughable 8th grade/freshman year (I don't know which) <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/19970711140030/http://www.uni.uiuc.edu/~tsherman/" rel="nofollow">web page</a> on the Internet Archive. This thing is from 1995ish, so if you're 110 years old in Intarweb, I'm damn near antediluvian! A certain blissful naivete accompanied the early days of the web.
