It's time to begin, now count it in: 5-6-7-8

Are AFC Wimbledon possibly the first team to sack their manager and then score 22 goals in the next three games? An 8-0 whitewash over Bedfont - apparently one of the form sides of the division - showed that Nicky English is doing something right.

Nicky noted in his programme notes that he did disagree with Terry on occasion over football matters but as manager, Eames' decision was final. On the evidence of the last three games it seems that Terry's bullheaded methods may have been a little naive. Even the previously quiet Paul Scott bagged a hat-trick.

Our next game midweek against Westfield should hopefully put those last remaining "Eamesgate" theorists to bed and another 5 or 6 on to the goal difference, putting us into distinguished company with another 19 games to go.

I demand a census tomorrow of exactly where all the Scousers are. Because, in a few months time, you won't meet one who won't claim that he was in Istanbul tonight.

AFC Wimbledon in the Daily Mail

Back in November 2004 Ivan Speck of the Daily Mail wrote a fantastically positive article about AFC Wimbledon, much to the surprise of much of our fanbase.

Simultaneously showing the brilliance and occasional pointlessness of the British Parliamentary system, the MP for Wimbledon Roger Casale tabled an Early Day Motion regarding the successes of AFC Wimbledon.

AFC Wimbledon and the digital hub

With the recent relaunch (at least at the back-end) of AFC Wimbledon's official site, I've done my little bit for the team by putting together some other ways of getting at the site content.
