iLife '04 - for a price

And then when you do want it, no-one in the UK stock it.So, Steve Jobs announces the long overdue updates to iPhoto as well as the other iLife apps; and of course me and the rest of the Apple world then runs off to Software Update to go get them (result: nothing).

Well, seeing as the UK store has it to buy at £39, and already has details of an up-to-date program for new Mac owners who don't already have it, I think we can safely assume that we might have a long wait on our hands.

Update: It seems that Eric Meyer has the same issue but explains it a little more eloquently.

Apple's inventory management sucks

Not content with messing up with their inventory on Power Mac G5's, eMac's, iPod mini's and iMac's, Apple have now delayed the Airport Express for another two weeks in the UK.

Upgrading the iPod's headphones

With the attraction of the iPod's shiny white headphones to thieves I've been using Sony's MDR-EX71SLB alternatives instead and can't rate them highly enough.

Movable Type template for iCal

For reasons I'm not entirely sure of, I've put together a feed of this site in iCalendar format (as used most notably by Apple's iCal).
