Dear owners of the Gilera DNA. Please stop riding your 'motorcycles' in the mistaken belief that restricted 50cc scooter with a funny frame makes you Valentino Rossi and that you can try and outrun a 500cc Aprilia Atlantic. It's not going to happen.

Bump and indeed ouch. After just over three years and 24,000 miles I finally succumbed to the road (and indeed the black ice as well).
By sheer good luck, I managed to acquire a great looking retro-style parcel rack for my Aprilia Atlantic 500 a few weeks back.
One of the daft issues that arises with owning an Aprilia Atlantic is that no-one (particularly the dealership) seems to have much of a clue about how to reset the service counter. Worse than that, the instructions that do filter down from Aprilia are vague at best.
It was a wee bit foggy today, to say the least.
