Hi,

I just got one of these this week and didn't need all these steps. The package contents didn't include Mobile_Connect_Drv_App.pkg so I just doubled clicked on the software icon thats on the stick (now called Mobile Partner) and it installed fine. At the end of the install, the network preferences settings came up automatically and then I needed all your info from then on.

I'm running 10.6.2 and the version of the Mobile Partner software is 15.001.06.00.03. The software itself is not much use, I just need to click on the modem icon in the menu bar to connect and disconnect.

Thanks for the useful article though, made the process nice and simple.

We had our wood grenade for almost 4 years until our last trip to primitive camping in western pa. My husband was slpitting a piece of hard redwood and the tip broke half way through the split. What a disappointment. We originally found this at Home Depot and would like to get a few more. I found this on websites in England such as Toolstation.com and screwfix.com but don't want to order from across the pond. I found something similar at Tractor Supply co in eastern pa. Have not yet purchased. Really want to locate the original Wood grenade. Anyone know where in the states i can acquire?

@ Rob (June 20, 2006 at 2:58 pm):

After Windows Update of my XP OS my Outlook 2007 stopped receiving or sending (error 0x80042108).
Having tried a few other suggestions, I came upon Rob's (see above) solution. And it worked! Sending/receiving in Outlook 2007 is working, now.

Thanks, mate!

Actually I foud an answer that works for me. I added POP and SMTP outbound services to the rules list in my Netgear FVS338 Firewall. Why it worked for the last 5 years without those items, I dont know. Welcome to Microsoft Hell!

I have tried everything from above with no good results. I started getting this error 5 days ago on two machines in the office. I can get my email on my iPhone, but not on my windows machines. I had this problem about 6 months ago and solved it by changing my SMTP port from 25 to 2525, but that does not help this time. From this and other sites I have tallied up 53 different methods that worked for one or more people. I think that it is one small bug in Outlook that can be effected or changed by many different programs that interact with Outlook. That is why so many people get good results doing so many unrelated things. Unfortunately none of those things have worked for me. I am afarade that to keep my business going, I am going to have to abandon Outlook. Does SUN Openoffice have an Outlook equavalent?

I tried the 'free' number but Orange says I'll be charged for it?? Perhaps they've fixed it or it's only free from landlines.

I am SO sick of this internet. I've run a cable from the router and it still takes me ages to load a webpage and god forbid I want to stream some poor quality tv.
Rage!!
